Mindful Bump is a mindfulness buffer app built around Screen Time and Family Controls on iPhone. This policy explains how the current version of the app handles data.
1. What Mindful Bump collects
In the current version of Mindful Bump, we do not collect or upload personal information from the app to our own servers.
The app is designed around on-device use. The current app experience does not use third-party advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking.
2. Information stored on your device
Mindful Bump may store app data locally on your device so the app can work as intended. This can include:
- your selected apps or categories for buffering
- your breathing and affirmation preferences
- exempt period settings
- reminder preferences
- local usage summary data and buffer completion history
- local subscription state cached on the device for app behavior
3. Permissions
Mindful Bump may request the following permissions:
- Screen Time / Family Controls: used to let you choose apps or categories to buffer and to support the interception flow.
- Notifications: optional; used for reminder notifications and to help bring you back into the app after the shield flow.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
Mindful Bump Pro subscriptions are sold through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. Apple processes billing and payment information under Apple's own terms and policies. We do not receive your full payment card details.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your app data for advertising or tracking in the current version of Mindful Bump.
6. Data retention and deletion
Because the current app experience is designed for local storage, the data described above remains on your device unless you delete it, remove the app, or use in-app data clearing controls where available.
7. Children's privacy
Mindful Bump is not intended as a kids-category app. If you believe the app is handling data in a way that raises a privacy concern, contact us at the email below.
